“I’ve spent most of my life in DPS, and am proud to represent five living generations of DPS graduates and attendees. I can personally attest to the impactful work taking place here. We may not be where we need to be, but I am confident we are on the right path.

At every step of my life’s journey people have provided me with support, encouragement, belief and confidence. We each have an obligation to leave the world a better place than how we found it. For me, DPS is that small part of the world. We all have a role to play to ensure the DPS legacy lives on forever. This is my personal responsibility and commitment, so I give to the campaign.

I’m passionate about the work we do in DPS. It is my hope that every person in the district is appreciated and valued for the skills, abilities, talents and treasures they possess. WOW….we are fortunate to have such a diverse group of individuals who have chosen DPS! I am confident that the contributions we as educators make each day has impact and will ultimately help us reach our vision of Every Child Succeeds!!

I appreciate that DPS is willing to step out-of-the-box, take some risks and transform the way we think about and approach public education. It is up to us to provide EVERY student with the high-quality education they need, want and deserve. As a DPS educator for six years I’ve seen the impact of the programs funded by the DPS Foundation and the critical support they provide to our students and families.

My name is Leslie L. Juniel, I am from Denver, Colorado, I’m a proud graduate of Montbello High School and I’m honored to play for DPS!!!!”

There is still time to join Leslie and hundreds of other educators who support I Give for Team DPS. Make your donation today! It will make a difference.
