Denver Public Schools Foundation Names
Qwest VP Sharon Montgomery to Board of Directors
DENVER, July 6, 2009 – The Denver Public Schools (DPS) Foundation is pleased to welcome to its board of directors Sharon Montgomery, vice president of Government and Education Solutions for Qwest Communications.
Montgomery is a 30-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, where she has held various sales, service, operations, process management and product management positions. Currently, Montgomery is responsible for the Qwest Government and Education Solutions team that provides next-generation communications technology for state and local government, higher education and K-12 schools for Qwest.
Montgomery holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Westminster College in Salt Lake City. She also received an executive master’s degree in business administration from the University of Denver in 2002.
