Programs
The Denver Public Schools Foundation raises and manages funds to support the district's relentless pursuit of student achievement. We fund several specific programs in the following areas:
- We support classrooms,
including funding of the district’s elementary school science curriculum,
and a grant program for individual schools
to fund field trips and classroom activities.
- We support principal leadership training, including
ongoing seminars and mentoring programs for new principals.
- We support after-school and summer programs that
provide students with opportunities to get academic tutoring, play sports,
learn music and art, work with computers, and more.
- We operate the School Partners Program,
which provides a simple way for businesses to partner with DPS schools
to provide volunteers and other resources our schools need.
