Programs

The Denver Public Schools Foundation raises and manages funds to support the district's relentless pursuit of student achievement. We fund several specific programs in the following areas:

We support classrooms, including funding of the district’s elementary school science curriculum, and a grant program for individual schools to fund field trips and classroom activities.
We support principal leadership training, including ongoing seminars and mentoring programs for new principals.
We support after-school and summer programs that provide students with opportunities to get academic tutoring, play sports, learn music and art, work with computers, and more.
We operate the School Partners Program, which provides a simple way for businesses to partner with DPS schools to provide volunteers and other resources our schools need.
