More than 30 organizations are currently partnering with DPS schools - providing volunteers, specialized expertise and critical resources to meet school needs.
New this year, the School Partners Program will recognize two outstanding business partnerships for their work in supporting a Denver Public School. Winning partnerships will receive recognition from the stage during the 2014 Achieve Gala, an engraved trophy and a $500 grant designated for their Partner school. Partners may self-nominate or may be nominated by a Denver Public School. Nominations are due by electronic submission by 5:00 p.m. Monday, February, 24th. The School Partners Program cultivates, nurtures and sustains partnerships between DPS schools and the Denver community. The program creates tailor-made partnerships between schools and businesses or community organizations. School partners provide a combination of volunteer time, in-kind contributions and financial resources to meet the specific needs of a school. In return, partners receive a multitude of benefits including an increased sense of pride and involvement in Denver's public school system and the success of our next generation of leaders.
