The following funding opportunities and resources are available to students and/or schools. These resources are not affiliated with the DPS Foundation. Please contact the organizations directly for more information!
DonorsChoose.org is an online charity that makes it easy for anyone to help students in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America post classroom project requests on the site, and donors can give any amount to the project that most inspires them.
The NEA Foundation Student Achievement Grants
The NEA Foundation has successfully provided funding to thousands of educators to enable them to take the lead on a wide range of projects to improve student learning. Grants are intended to be spent on materials or educational experiences to further students’ knowledge. Apply to this grant by December 1st to be considered!
The Westerra Credit Union school grant
The Westerra Credit Union’s school grant initiative offers classroom funding to enhance the overall student experience. It covers a variety of needs including, but not limited to, art supplies, sports fees, and workbooks. Be sure to apply by October 16th!
Help our teachers fund
All educators and paraprofessionals employed by an accredited K-12 public/private school are eligible to apply. These funds are intended for supplies that would improve students’ learning in the classroom, such as: books, software, art/school supplies, lab materials, etc. Apply by December 31st, 2020!
Zonta Club of Denver II – Grants for Teachers
This year our club will fund TWO teachers in grades K-12 in the Denver Metropolitan Area. The Zonta Club of Denver II is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women through service and advocacy. The grant is intended to help defray the cost of materials needed for teachers’ classes or to provide experiences to promote reading.
