Colorado Gives Day

Support DPS students and educators by donating on December 8 to DPS Foundation, a day where your dollars go even further!

Support your community

Colorado Gives Day, held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, is a statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy across Colorado!

This year, you can make a BIG impact, in more ways than one. On Colorado Gives Day, your dollars go even further thanks to Community First Foundation, FirstBank and other community members who will be giving a boost to every donation. And, for the first-time…in the month of December, your gift to the DPS Foundation will be MATCHED up to $25,000 thanks to generous support from Jeanne and Dick Saunders!

Support equity for students today, tomorrow and for the future.

We already knew that there are tremendous barriers to breaking patterns of historic inequities in public education. When the pandemic began, we already knew that our most vulnerable students were facing incredible obstacles. During the pandemic we learned that all we already knew to be true became even more acute. And with that, support is needed more than ever. We ask that you consider supporting our students’ basic and acute needs right now to narrow the equity gap.

At DPS Foundation, we are committed to supporting DPS students, and we believe students, particularly those most vulnerable, deserve a quality education. For nearly three decades, we have worked to break historical patterns of inequity for DPS students.

– So mental health supports can be a top priority.

– So our kids may have hotspots to learn.

– So unfinished learning can be lessened so no student falls behind.

Together, we can ensure all students graduate ready to lead a successful life!
