About the film: Paper Tigers is a look into the lives of students at Walla Walla, Washington’s Lincoln High School, a school that specializes in educating traumatized youth. The film intimately examines trauma-informed communities – a movement that is showing great promise in healing youth struggling with the dark legacy of Adverse Childhood Experiences. Following six students over the course of a school year, we see Lincoln’s staff try new approaches based on understanding and treatment rather than judgment and suspension.
