The Denver Public Schools Foundation relies upon committed individual volunteers to help us advance our work, and help DPS accelerate its progress. There are many ways for you to make a positive impact on Denver’s students and schools. Examples of volunteer roles within DPS and the DPS Foundation include:
Street Team Volunteers
Street Team members staff our booth at various community events throughout the year and promote our programs and initiatives through social media networks and posting collateral around town. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity, with great perks! Click here for the full description.
Power Lunch & TutorMate Literacy Volunteers
Read weekly with a DPS student through programs such as Power Lunch and TutorMate. Both are powerful ways for you to inspire young minds, serve as a role model, and make a difference in the life of a DPS student. If you are interested in volunteering your time to read weekly with a DPS student, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or (720) 423-3553.
