Whole Family
We support DPS’s Denver 2020 Whole Child Plan, recognizing that emotional, social and physical well-being is just as important as academic learning.
community hubs
Community Hubs offer free wrap-around, multi-generational services to community members 16 or older in order to help them obtain critical life skills and increase their economic self-sufficiency and academic achievements.
Trauma Informed Practices
The Campbells’ recent $1 million grant to DPS for this program will address trauma’s long-term effects on learning, behavior and health.
Afterschool Programs
Afterschool programs supported by the DPS Foundation help ensure free access for students at and elementary and middle schools with high rates of free and reduced lunch eligibility, qualify for Title 1, or receive Tier 1 Intensive Support. The programs are supported through a variety of grants.
Middle School Sports
Participation in sports builds self-esteem, encourages a healthy lifestyle, improves school attendance and teaches invaluable principles of teamwork. The DPS Prep League enrolls 5,600 students in 17 different sports each year.
