Denver (November 2, 2023) – The Denver Public Schools Foundation (DPS Foundation) is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the winners of the prestigious 2023 Partners in Philanthropy Awards by the Denver Business Journal. These awards recognize organizations that have demonstrated innovation and developed best practices in partnerships with nonprofits, showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact in the Denver community.

The Denver Business Journal’s Partners in Philanthropy Awards sought nominations from companies that have shown exemplary commitment to nonprofits through various levels of engagement, including volunteer work, cash donations, in-kind donations, and board participation.

“The Denver Public Schools Foundation is honored to be recognized by the Denver Business Journal with the 2023 Partners in Philanthropy Award,” said Richard Tagle, DPS Foundation’s President and CEO. “This award underscores our ongoing commitment to the critical work that we do to make sure every student has the tools and resources to reach their highest potential. We can’t do this alone and are truly grateful for the support we receive from our community, partners, and dedicated team members who make our work possible. Helping the public stand up and support public education is one of the many accomplishments we are proud of at DPS Foundation.”

DPS Foundation was an award winner in the nonprofit category, reflecting its continuous dedication and commitment to educational excellence through innovative programs supporting the whole child, fundraising efforts, and community engagement that have benefited the Denver community at large. The winners will be profiled in the Denver Business Journal’s special edition on December 8, 2023.
