A day of volunteering, connecting with our community and fun!

2025 Events

The Back to Class Bash Season will include three events:

Service Day

  • Participate in a day of volunteering to beautify school grounds
  • Friday, August 8, 2025 at two schools from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • School Sites: Carson Elementary & Hallett Academy

School Supply Event

  • Bring our free DPS pop-up shop to life by helping families get everything they need to be ready for the
    first day of school
  • Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Abraham Lincoln High School from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

DPS 5K, A Fun Run with DPS Foundation

  • Run or walk with Team DPS and community members while putting students first!
  • Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Berkeley Lake Park

Back to Class Bash is the DPS Foundation’s celebratory back-to-school fundraiser event that gives corporate and community members alike a chance to join together to show our students and educators we stand behind them as they embark on a new school year. Many thanks to all volunteers who joined us on Friday, August 9, 2024 at three different schools: Ashley Elementary, Doull Elementary & Wyatt Academy! This year’s event featured three DPS students from Lake Middle School’s Denver DJ School to provide entertainment for our volunteers!
