Great way to kick off new school season with School Supplies Donations.
A huge thanks to Mayor Hancock and the generous citizens of Denver. Thanks to their support, we’ve collected more than 35,000 school supply items for DPS students through the Mayor’s inauguration events!
We have everything from notebooks to pens to art supplies to backpacks. The materials will be distributed to the highest-need students in DPS as they start a new school year.
A BIG thank you to the Mayor, his staff for organizing the drive, and the thoughtful folks who brought supplies. THOUSANDS of DPS students will have a fresh start to the 2011-12 school year thanks to your support!
