As we look toward the start of a new school year, there is great news of growth in DPS graduation rates. A total of 3,373 students graduated in DPS’ class of 2011, compared with 2,893 students in 2009. That means that nearly 500 more students are walking across DPS commencement stages, and going on to higher education or career armed with a high school diploma.
Kudos to our teachers, school leaders, administrators and the community for their support. Every single student that graduates from DPS is a triumph for our community!
