Each One Teach One – No More Gap program in Denver Public Schools.

The DPS Foundation has been a fundraising partner for Each One Teach One for several years. In 2011, knowing the early benchmarks for the program’s success, the DPS Foundation and Each One Teach One applied for a highly competitive “Social Innovation Fund” grant from Mile High United Way to support the expansion of the program into more DPS schools. The DPS Foundation’s grant application for Each One Teach One was one of only 11 grants funded. The funding significantly expands the program, allowing an additional 285 students to participate. It will also allow for rigorous program evaluation – to find out what’s working so well for kids in Each One Teach One, and to bring those principles to scale for students state and nation-wide.

Innovation funding is a core mission of the DPS Foundation. You can help support Each One Teach One – and promising programs like it – for the 81,000 students in Denver Public Schools. Learn more!
