Roma I have seen firsthand the benefits of the programs run by the Denver Public Schools Foundation. While I was at Garden Place Academy and now at Place Bridge Academy, I’ve seen my colleagues given the opportunity to provide extra materials, field trips, after-school programs, and much more because of the DPS Foundation.

– Roma Pitt, Assistant Principal, Place Bridge Academy

Roma Pitt knows that she is a part of the solution by donating to the Team DPS Employee Giving Campaign. “I am proud to say I Give for Team DPS, I am Team DPS! We all reap the benefits of everything that goes though the DPS Foundation. I am directly making an impact on the 1,000 kids at Place Bridge Academy and all of the 88,000 students enrolled in schools across DPS. There is no down side in donating to I Give for Team DPS.”

Roma is the Assistant Principal at Place Bridge Academy. She wears many hats including welcoming the kids, parents and families to the school; making sure the students are safe and ready to learn; and coordinating many moving logistics such as breakfast and bus schedules.

Roma comes from a family of educators; her mother is a retired DPS team member! Roma feels like she was called to the teaching profession because she believes kids are our future. Donations to the campaign benefit all DPS students, and that what we are here for! If you are a DPS employee please consider supporting the I Give for Team DPS campaign. The money generated by I Give for Team DPS is invested directly back in our schools visit the DPS Foundation website to find out how.
