I Give for Team DPS because….

SouthTDPS2013It’s a great way to live our shared values – and have DOUBLE the impact on programs that help Every Student Succeed!

I am giving to Team DPS because:

  • I have 4 children who went through DPS from Kindergarten through graduation successfully! (a couple of bumps but finished successfully in the end!)
  • I have always wanted to be a cheerleader (I was cut second round in high school – couldn’t complete two cartwheels in a row…some of you already know this fact) so I am cheering for DPS – Yeah!
  • DPS Foundation has granted funds to South (and previous schools I was on staff with) for important programs that support our students.
  • I want SOUTH to be #1 in the amount of people giving (does NOT depend on amount of dollars!)
  • I want SOUTH to get the $1,000!
  • I want Boasberg to never forget who made him match the most dollars – 🙂
  • I want a prize (the next drawing is on December 3rd)

This inspirational piece was written by Karen Duell, Community and Family Liaison at South High School, a continued supporter of Team DPS and the I Give for Team DPS employee giving campaign. The picture above is Karen surrounded by fellow educators who also support the employee giving campaign.
